Sales Development Representative

At WINT, our Sales Development Representative role is critical to our company’s success.  You will be a key member of our fast-growing sales team and will be our boots-on-the-ground solution to building personal relationships and generating interest with new prospects. Specifically, you will leverage your past cold calling and/or lead generation experience to communicate with potential clients via phone, emails, and Linkedin to develop an interest in WINT’s high-tech water management solution.

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for acquiring new customers in the Continental US (secondarily Canada), based in the US but flexible on location, and will work remotely (from home office or co-working space).

Who We Are

We are disrupting the water industry! WINT-Water Intelligence detects and stops leaks at the source using Artificial Intelligence.  Providing a simple and innovative cloud-based solution for commercial buildings and construction sites, WINT alerts when water is leaking and automatically shuts it off. Intelligent real-time monitoring identifies sources of leaks and waste, reducing water consumption and preventing damage. 

The Opportunity

We are seeking a results-oriented, motivated, and strategic ‘hunter’ who is laser-focused on building sales pipeline within the North American market.  On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for cold-calling prospects and educating the market about WINT and generating opportunities with net-new customers.  You will become an expert at using lead generation tools to routinely extract contacts and craft accurate and targeted lists of prospects, including tools like ZoomInfo and ConstructConnect. You will be able to conduct sales development best practices with email, phone, and social drips using sales engagement cadences to connect with new prospects. The right candidate will proactively build a solid understanding of the industry, competition, and the WINT sales process to spark meaningful conversations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Inbound and outbound sales prospecting (90% outbound)
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Set up quality meetings between prospective customers and Account Executives by identifying needs/pains
  • Meet or exceed monthly meeting goals and targets
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

 Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in business, or other equivalent degree

Ability to understand new products and technology with the ability to articulate their value

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM like Salesforce

Great to Haves:

  • Experience in selling to/influencing Facility Management, Sustainability Directors, or Construction Industry a plus
  • Experience in start-up environments
  • Proficiency in use of sales tools i.e. ZoomInfo, Salesloft, Dodge/ConstructConnect
