The Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) Business Development Engineer is responsible for driving awareness in North America for the WINT-Water Intelligence solution. At WINT, this business development role is critical to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing sales and business development team and will be our boots-on-the-ground solution to building personal relationships and generating leads and new opportunities within the MEP community. Specifically, you will leverage your technical expertise in the plumbing engineering field to get the WINT product specified in the design phase, supporting design engineers to apply our product to water-based systems.
The MEP Business Development Engineer will focus on the Continental US (secondarily Canada) and will be based in the US. We are flexible on location and will work remotely (from home office or co-working space). The role will directly report to the VP of Sales with a dotted line to the VP of Partners and Business Development.
Disrupting the water industry, WINT detects and stops leaks at the source using Artificial Intelligence. Providing a simple and innovative cloud-based solution for commercial buildings and construction sites, WINT alerts when water is leaking and automatically shuts it off. Intelligent real-time monitoring identifies sources of leaks and waste, reducing water consumption and preventing damage.
We are growing and looking for a talented MEP engineer to drive WINT solution specification into new projects, specifically focused on new construction, renovation, and retrofit markets. Working directly with consulting engineers, we are looking for the right talent, experience, and proven track record in driving our solution into new construction projects. As the right candidate, you will leverage your lead generation experience to generate meetings with consulting engineers via phone, emails, and Linkedin to develop interest in WINT’s high-tech water management solution. You’ll also build engineer facing collateral like specification creation resources and templates, technical reference materials, spec sheets, all while assisting in the design of other needed resources for the MEP community (videos, website needs, etc.).
