The Construction Account Executive is responsible for acquiring new customers in the New York Area, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales. The role will be based in New York or New Jersey and will work fully remote (from home office or co-working i.e. WeWork).
We are growing and looking for a talented sales executive to grow with WINT. The Construction Account Executive will be responsible for the acquisition of new accounts specifically focused on new construction opportunities, working directly with general contractors (GC) and commercial developers. We are looking for a positive, energetic sales professional experienced in building your book of business, with a proven track record in solution and consultative selling in or to the general construction industry.
This role will actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, company provided lead tools (like ConstructConnect) and marketing leads, professional organizations, and social media. You will be assigned new target general contractor accounts and owner/developer accounts in your territory which you will be penetrate and grow through strategic account management. An understanding of selling bottoms up and top down is critical to success in this role. You are skilled in hunting and closing new business. And, as the world around us has changed, you must also be skilled at outbound phone and virtual (email, text, social) prospecting, virtual (phone and video) meetings, and closing business 100% virtually. Travel to accounts and/or large job sites may be needed from time to time, especially for your largest accounts.
